  • Both! For schools in Northern Indiana, Northwest Ohio, or Southern Michigan, in-person Get Schooled Tours are possible if RemedyLIVE can secure funding for the event.

    All schools can be served with the Get Schooled Tour Virtual, directly into the classroom, so that the event supports the academic structure of the day and fits into a class period.

  • Your Get Schooled Tour Event will include: live entertainment, interactive polling, motivating video, engaging teaching.

    Each event is slightly different and provides an opportunity for you to help us make it special for your specific audience. All content is reviewable prior to the event.

  • The Get Schooled Tour covers a wide variety of topics.

    The in-person Strengths version discusses the importance of caring for our mental health, multiple ways to strengthen it, and how to friend up and encourage one another.

    The Get Schooled Tour in-person ESCAPE version covers harmful ways we as humans attempt to escape pain, the neuroscience behind escapism, and the importance of radical honesty.

    A combination of both versions is provided during the Get Schooled Tour Virtual.

  • Program pricing varies depending on the number of sessions you will need at your school and whether the presenter will visit more than one school in your district.

    You can get a quote by filling out the request form on this page. The Get Schooled Tour is committed to working with foundations and businesses in your community to raise the dollars needed to cover the assemblies you want to have in your school.

  • The Get Schooled Tour in-person is typically 60 minutes and the Get Schooled Tour Virtual is 40 minutes, however, we can easily accommodate your specific class period timeframes.

  • The Get Schooled Tour uses a custom polling software created by RemedyLIVE. Students are privately polled via their school device’s web browser.

  • Indiana House Bill 1447 provides, among other things, that if a school uses a third-party vendor for evaluations or surveys, said responses cannot be recorded in a manner that would allow the identity of the student to be determined from the answers. RemedyLIVE and the Get Schooled Tour have taken the necessary steps to ensure compliance with this law.   • In-Person

    • A gym or auditorium for the presentation and easy access to the room for the production equipment to load/unload

    • Access to the proper electrical needs for the tour production

    • 6-8 students to help unload equipment from the trailer and reload at the end of the presentation (Click here for more info regarding setup)

    • Each student will need a device with access to the internet (smartphone, laptop, tablet, etc.).

    • A dedicated talk room in the school, staffed by caring compassionate adults, where students can go following the Get Schooled Tour event.

    Virtual

    • a projector or monitor in each classroom to show the program so students can see and hear the content.

    • WiFi for each classroom.

    • Student devices for each student to interact via a web browser with the content being streamed live.

    • A dedicated talk room in the school, staffed by caring compassionate adults, where students can go following the Get Schooled Tour event.

  • The Get Schooled Tour is committed to positive messaging and working with musicians who are consistent in their song lyrics to build up those who listen to their music. The Get Schooled Tour has worked with a wide variety of musical guests but chooses artists who have a personal passion for the issues discussed.

  • It’s recommended that the Principal or School Administrator set ground rules before the presentation.

  • No, but the event does have lighting that flickers, which could cause those with photosensitivity issues to experience discomfort. We recommend those students be offered an alternative to the assembly event.

  • At the conclusion of the presentation, announcements are made on how students can connect with a trusted adult. The Get Schooled Tour also provides each student in attendance with cards that invite them to chat with a the RemedyLIVE 24/7 chat center as well as 988.

  • Yes. The Get Schooled Tour Jr. is designed for younger students (grades 1 through 5).

    • Work with partners of the Get Schooled Tour to get your staff trained with Youth Mental Health First Aid.

    • Help find other schools in your city for the Get Schooled Tour to make your community stronger.

    • Collaborate with other community leaders so The Get Schooled Tour can host an extended evening concert in your community.
